In industrial and technical environments, machines are subject to influences on a daily basis that can negatively affect their appearance and functioning. Think of dirt, dust, grease, oils, chemical vapours and UV radiation. Over time, these factors cause discolouration, weathering of paint layers and damage to the surface. This makes maintenance more intensive, the appearance less professional and can ultimately even shorten the lifespan of the machines.

PontMeyer has started a large-scale renovation project of its branches, with the aim of improving the customer experience, modernising the appearance of the stores and optimising the functionality of the spaces. In this context, special attention is being paid to the shop floors, which are exposed to intensive traffic of customers, staff and goods movements on a daily basis.

The powder-coated fences were in poor condition due to long-term exposure to changing weather conditions, air pollution and intense UV radiation. The original colour had largely disappeared and the surface looked matt and weathered. Especially for fences in outdoor environments such as industrial estates, schools or public spaces, colour retention and protection are of crucial importance, both aesthetically and functionally.
